Calling All Makers: Win $1 Million To Bring Your Best Idea To Life

psfk and intel

In the United States, roughly 135 million adult makers generate $29 billion per year. As dreamers, inventors, developers and entrepreneurs know, the making culture has long been ingrained within history as people are continually inspired to construct the world around them. Today, more than ever, with an unbounded amount of tools, resources and services to guide the building process, makers are itching to roll up their sleeves and use their hands and imaginations to create something new. What unites these individuals is their do-or-die energy: a uniquely packaged ethos of trying, sharing, learning and creating as they continue to envision and build the future.

If you're inspired to tap your inner maker and bring your great tech idea to life, apply here to be a part of
Intel's America's Greatest Makers reality TV show.

To continue to power the movement forward, Intel is launching America's Greatest Makers, a reality TV series that will give the everyday maker a chance at $1 million to bring their concept to market. Whether you are a college student or scientist or tradesperson or teacher, submit an application with a little bit about yourself and your big idea to be considered for the competition.
We've reached an era in which the entire maker community can innovate with the digital and physical toolsets available. From DIY electronic kits to online learning resources, new easy-to-design software and low-cost electronics are enabling greater opportunities for creating, sourcing and selling.

Check out the 2015 update to PSFK's Maker Manual which spotlights the new computer technologies helping to democratize making, providing every creator with a wealth of tools, support and services to leverage throughout every stage of the building process.

We can't wait to see what you make next.

Apply here for America's Greatest Makers.
